April 2025         Prayer Diary

1. Pray for our Archbishop, Stephen Cottrell.   

2. Pray for Christians suffering persecution in Nigeria, Myanmar and Burkina Faso.

3. Give thanks for sponsors and team members of Compassion as they release children from poverty and teach them about Jesus.

4. Pray for Ukraine and all its people as we hear the latest news.

5. Man of Sorrows! What a name for the Son of God who came ruined sinners to reclaim! Alleluia! What a Saviour!

6. Pray for blessing and the Spirit’s enabling for Graham, Edward and Heather.

7. Pray for those with mental health issues and all who try to help them.

8. Pray for all working at Bungay Medical Centre.

9. Pray for King Charles and his close family as they serve our nation.

10. Pray for foodbanks. Give thanks for those who serve and enable them to bless the recipients.

11. Pray for blessing and protection on Ed,Heather, Barnaby and Judah.

12. All for Jesus! All for Jesus! This our song shall ever be; for we have no hope nor Saviour if we have not hope in thee.

13. Pray for our Archdeacons, Rich and Sally, for the gift of encouragement and great wisdom

14. Pray for Francesco, Zoe and their children serving Jesus in Kosovo.

15. Pray for our church wardens, lay elders and PCC members.

16. Pray for the ministry of Quiet Waters.

17. Pray for our farming communities

18. Oh, to see the dawn of the darkest day: Christ on the road to Calvary. Tried by sinful men, torn and beaten, then nailed to a cross of wood. This, the power of the cross: Son of God – slain for us. What a love! What a cost! We stand forgiven at the cross.

19. Pray for the daily witness of members of our congregations.

20. Thine be the glory, risen, conquering Son, endless is the victory thou o’er death hast won.

21. ‘Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here, he has risen.’  Rejoice!

22. Pray for the local schools for teachers, children and governors.

23. Pray for Ed and Heather, for guidance, wisdom and inspiration as they lead the Lightwave Mission.

24. Pray for Leon Collyer and family as he ministers in the ‘Saints’.

25. Pray for local businesses to thrive and our councils to make wise decisions.

26. There is a redeemer, Jesus, God’s own Son, precious Lamb of God, Messiah, Holy One. Thank you, O my Father, for giving us your Son, and leaving your Spirit till the work on earth is done.

27. Pray for Graham and Edward as they minister together.

28. Pray for all who come to our churches for the first time. May they experience the presence and power of the Holy Spirit.  

29. Pray for Barnabas Aid, Tear Fund and Christian Aid.

30. Pray for a reduction in the economic gulf between the nations.
